In recent years, there has been a surge in initiatives to create inclusive spaces and playgrounds in urban parks. However, the term ‘inclusive’ lacks a fixed definition, leading to various municipalities and organizations advancing their efforts through trial and error. This seminar shared national trends and on-site challenges related to domestic initiatives, and discussed the future of creating inclusive playgrounds with relevant stakeholders.
It was mentioned that parks should evolve in response to changing times and needs, based on the idea that their value lies in being utilized. The importance of making them interactive and constructive spaces for stakeholder participation was emphasized, and efforts to understand the current situation are necessary.
