The School of Economics and Management and Fanto co. ltd. held a signing ceremony for the Comprehensive Collaborative Agreement.
On Monday, March 11, the School of Economics and Management held a signing ceremony for a Comprehensive Collaborative Agreement with Fanto co. ltd.
Fanto co. ltd. is a regional trading company based in Okayama Prefecture that engages in the production and sales of agricultural products, product development, and sales channel development support.
Both parties collaborated in the Project Seminar of the Global Business Course (GBC) of the School of Economics and Management from 2019, focusing on SDG 12, “Responsibility to Create, Responsibility to Use,” and worked together to reduce food loss of Hyogo Prefecture products such as Iwatsu green onions, Asakura pepper, and Tanba black edamame by having students develop products utilizing out-of-spec product lines. The students have been involved in reducing food loss of agricultural products produced in Hyogo Prefecture, such as Iwatsu green onions, Asakura pepper, and Tamba black edamame.
With the conclusion of this comprehensive collaboration agreement, we further promote activities that contribute to the SDGs, contribute to the revitalization of the local economy, and work toward the development of diverse human resources.
