On March 12, Hyogo Prefecture and Kobe City hosted an exchange meeting between local companies and university students at Portopia Hotel to introduce the younger generation to “Mimosa Enterprises” that promote women's activities.
Hyogo Prefecture and Kobe City have named companies in the prefecture that are actively working to create a comfortable working environment and career development for women “Mimosa Companies,” after the mimosa flower, the symbol of International Women's Day, and have been supporting them since 2022.
Currently, 139 companies have been certified, and an exchange meeting was held in Kobe City on March 12, attended by about 150 people, including Mimosa companies certified this year and university students looking to find employment.
Governor Saito participated in the exchange of opinions, and 14 members from the University of Hyogo also attended the meeting, actively speaking out about creating a workplace where everyone can work comfortably.
