In order to provide the next generation with a learning opportunity that will help them change society and how we live, with the aim of a sustainable future, the students at Hakuro Junior High School will enhance their understanding of SDGs. Also, in cooperation with Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank, Limited, students will learn about the environment and finance.
On Friday, October 28, 2022, we will host a special class ”The Deep Connection Between the Past, Present, and Future Global Environment and Microflora” under the theme of the environment, for grade-8 students at Hakuro Junior High School.
This is based on SDGs Goal 13 “Climate action”. It is an opportunity that provides support for learning that boosts the theme of “fostering human resources who have a global perspective and an understanding of SDGs and who love their hometown and have an understanding of a carbon-free lifestyle”, which is aimed at by Himeji, a future-orientated city tackling SDGs, as well as the theme of “educational activities in cooperation with the local region”, which is a major focus of Hakuro Junior High School.
